Today work was going smoothly(as smooth as it can for Christmas Eve) and suddenly at around 10 am the lights flicker and go out. Very weird for that to happen considering it wasn't snowing, wasn't incredibly cold and was not very windy. Then the lights flicker on for 2 min then off again. Happens about 2 more times in 5 min and lights are out for next hour. We kick out customers who are grumpy they can't continue to shop. We were told the lights would not be back until 5pm(near closing) but we are back in business by 11:15 am. Worst part is all the flickering of the lights killed our photo scanner due to corrupt file(hate having to explain this to customers who probably have a hard time working the tv remote let alone understand "corrupt file"). We won't get parts until Friday(who knows at what time) so all the Christmas photos of the kiddies will have to wait. Oh no what will we do. panic panic.
