Well xmas eve could have been worse. Man it was a horrible. Not really any SCs that I experienced but still a bad day. We were slammed the whole day! I was checking for most of my shift and people are asking me if we are going to open more lanes.
Ha Sure Lemme just pull some cashiers out of my ass! Yeah right you should just be glad that any of us are here.

Yes it does, isn't ironic though that you say that but I'm sure at the same time you're ecstatic that we're open at 8 O'CLOCK ON CHRISTMAS EVE! If you're are really sincere about being sorry for my misery DON'T SHOP TODAY!!
And that's to all the people who came to my store that evening. Seriously at 8pm I had SCO, 1 Express, and 4 regular lanes (that's half our registers) opened and STILL had lines down the aisles!!! Gah Why!! WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!! It didn't die down till we closed at 9!!!! What the hell is wrong with people shopping so late on a holiday!!
Well because it was SO busy I was way behind on my accounting stuff. We closed at 9....I didn't clock out till 11pm!!!!!!!!! Gah I NEVER want to be the closing FES on xmas eve EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!
