A miracle happened at work today...

and no, it wasn't Numbnuts getting fired. Psych!

It was something almost as unbelievable: the carpet in the furniture department was vacuumed by the cleaning guy today.

It had to be moths since it was last done. There were big pieces of garbage and little bits of styrofoam scattered all over. I guess it was more apparent because some stuff was moved out of there so more of the carpet is showing.

And the thing of it is, vacuuming all the carpets is something the cleaning guy is supposed to do daily. But at least it will look decent for a while.

when i saw the maintenance guy cleaning the rugs from in front of the fish tanks(not their regular duty, and he had just transferred to maintenence anyways) my reaction was "those are black? I thought they were grey"

then he talked about how he went out back and beat it for 30 mins and was irritated when i started laughing
