One of my CW's was going away for the weekend, so she had Friday and half of Monday off. I took over many of her duties. Not so bad on Friday.

Then, Monday.

Monday's are already super busy for me. Now I had her work to do as well, with everything on OMG PRIORITY! Then there was the weekly meeting, and people needing me to do OTHER things. I didn't get lunch until 2, and I still have one more report to do, and hour before going home.

I called L to let her know my IE wasn't working for some reason, then it started working just as I was telling her.

L: It's 4 o'clock. Maybe it's tired.
Me: IT'S tired?!

At least I'm making waffles when I get home...

I shall cook because we have honest-to-God maple syrup that requires waffles.

It will be. She came back around 2 today, and my Tuesdays are never busy. There are just lots of Monday reports to do.

Then she dropped the bomb: she'll be going away for a week in July, so I'll be taking over ALL her work. All week. And I only did HALF the stuff she normally does on Mondays.
