One of our RF engineers sent me an IM saying that Outlook got disconnected and was asking him for a password - his system password wasn't working.
This sometimes happens - logging out of the computer and back in usually resolves it.
Here's how the IM went:
RF: Hey Draggar
Me: Yes?
RF: For some reason my outlook got disconnected and now it says I need a password.
>> my (system) password won't work.
Me: Try logging out of the computer and then log back in.
RF: That will help?
(Now, my sense of humor pops up)
Me: Nope, not at all, I just wanted a quick way to get you out of chat.
(Let it sit for a few seconds)
>> Just kidding - this will reset your connection with the Enterprise server. It should let you back in afterwards.
I'm glad he knows how to take a good joke.
