  • Juiciest gossip of the week.

Heard from someone who should know better.

So, one of the higher ups at work decided to gossip with one of the assistants while I was near them working on a PC. Sadly, I was actually working so I missed the first bit with the name of the person.

But apparently, one of our staffers (and possibly a manager?) was in the downstairs pub (also one of our businesses) in uniform and with her name tag on.

Now, normally, no one would say boo. But it seems she was in the pub with her hands tied behind her back doing shots out of another woman's cleavage.

This is not considered 'acceptable' behavior when in uniform and wearing your nametag. Especially since there were a number of complaints about it from other non-employee customers that were there.

Now, personally, my free time is my time and I do what I want. I don't much care what other people do with their free time. But I should think you'd be smart enough to at least have a change of clothes and take off your bloody name tag before doing something like that.

Anyway, that was the juiciest gossip of the week that I heard at work. How about you guys?

Angry Old Man Bill and I are sleeping together.

We are totally playing it up, too. I said the other night, loud enough for everyone to hear "Gee, Bill, it's like we're Holly and Hef! We should have our own TV show!"

If that's really true, that co-worker could get herself in a heap of trouble for behaving in a manner unbecoming of a uniformed employee off the clock or not. Because in that uniform she is representing the organization she works for.

        at the gossip.

Although the weirdest one I've heard was that Aussie Numbnuts and I were dating...really, I've noticed it's started to become more or less sibling-rivalry type stuff rather than flat out hate. He does have his good points, but I'm not about to become best friends with him. He's still harassing some of the girls and tends to be quite arrogant and muscling in, so I'm watching him.

That my boss is getting ready to retire, and that they may give his job to me.

They're sending me on a "leadership and management" course, and he's been cleaning up his office.

The dimensional tech on the other night shift ran out of guys to fuck on her shift, so she's transferring to our shift, and to make room for her, they're firing the temp we all like.
