Damn. I have a job as an instructor for a university art program here, and while I don't depend on it for income (it's only three hours a week), it is the most fun I've ever had in a job and the experience is irreplaceable. I love my students, I love my boss and I love teaching Photoshop. It's pretty much the perfect gig.
We're on summer break right now and I just received a worrying email from my boss, saying that the computer lab we use on campus may not be available in the fall. Unfortunately, this is the only Mac computer lab we have at our university and our whole Photoshop course is set up for Macs only. Therefore, I might not have this job come the fall.
I still have to phone my boss and get some details from him, and he's going to be talking to the director of the program to see what's up, so it's not a for sure thing yet, but I'm very worried as this job is the only good thing I've got going for me right now and I would hate to lose it.
Oh well, I'm crossing my fingers.
