Hey there, CS-ites! On this day I am sad to report that my time at Blizzard Entertainment has come to an end. While I will miss the company and many perks available...I am already rejoicing at not having to deal with the particular brand of crazy encountered on a daily basis on the phone lines.
I was there for roughly 9 and a half months, during which time I made a great deal of lasting friendships and gained a lot of CS experience. In the end, however, I wasn't able to keep up with the efficiency required of Blizzard to maintain employment. After a 2 month probationary period and teary eyes amongst all parties involved, I was officially dismissed from employment. I'm already taking heart in the fact that neither myself nor my many friends there will be letting something as small as job loss interfere with friendship
At this point I've put in for a job with my brother at Starbucks and am pondering sending my resume to a couple of my old co-workers to see if they can hook me up somewhere more prestigious than food service. However, that may go on hold; now that I once again have time for school, I'm taking a long, hard look at completing my education. Time will only tell where this leads; but as you were with me when this began, seems only fitting now you be made aware of its end. Thank you all
