So, as you all know by now, I'm at new store. I have managed to carve out my niche, albeit a little bit hesitantly. I'm still a little unfamiliar with some locations, and for some reason seem to think that the deli coolroom is the dairy coolroom....
What has been somewhat frustrating though, is that my old store STILL has not sent out my file. The old store basically told me that I could start at new store a week earlier than originally planned. This week was meant to be my first weekthere, but it wound up being my second. They have managed to, for the most part, secure me some hours, although my hours are being put under a now-resigned girl's name. I am still getting paid, I think my paycheck is still being charged to my old store than my new store...but I don't know for sure.
Basically, though, to the system, I am a floater between stores. It was confirmed that yes, I was moving, permanently. And they seemed to want to fast-track the process a bit as well...(old store that is, not new store). I hope that my work shirts don't wind up at location A though instead of B.
