  • we do not touch the customers

This isn't so much about a SC but about a sucky landlord.

I was working at a store and had a customer want to return some equipment he borrowed from me. He backed is truck up to front door and proceeded to unload. I saw him doing this, but was talking to someone else, so I did not go out to get help him. After my customer left, I went outside to find the equipment and truck but no customer. I heard the back door open (we never used this but had to keep it unlocked during business hours) and went back in to see what was going on. Enter the landlord dragging my customer by the arm. The landlord was screaming about how the customer should have unloaded the equipment in the back. The landlord then left.

Latter a cop shows up. The customer called the cops to tell them he was assaulted at my store. I told the cop what I saw. He took my statement and left. The cop called me about an hour latter to ask me to describe the landlord again. When I did, he told me this is the 4th time in 6 months they have had to deal with him. According to the cop, he is losing his mind and screaming at random people on the street.

Sounds like your store needs a new venue, because Mr Nuts With A Side Of Assault is likely to lose his rental business. Seriously, when did grabbing, dragging and screaming at people ever become a good business practice?
If I make no sense, I apologize. I'm constantly interrupted by an actual toddler.

not only that but... with that many complaints - not to mention a witness to him grabbing ahold of people in anger .... he might simply have to sell the property anyway.

it's kinda hard to be a landlord from within a jail cell, no? Cos eventually that may be where he's headed.
