Okay, I just got back. She made herself pretty scarce the whole time, I only saw her once, and that time, she was talking to a crowd of people. I didn't interfere with that, because I didn't want her to be able to say we'd interfered with her customers. I so wanted to say "you're going to position your fan to blow towards us, right? So your customers will look your way?", but the only time I could have done it, she wasn't in the booth.

I think she was avoiding us and hiding behind the crowd, probably because K was there and there were four of us total in the booth.

I feel a bit let down about it.

But get this:When D and L, the folks manning the booth got in this morning, the bitch had unpacked her new fan and dumped all the packing trash on our table.

My impulse was to dump it back into her booth, but then we figured the fair people didn't want to break up a fight between two people acting like children. We're a big company, we can't be stooping to petty shit like that. Although it would have been really fun.

My director is at lunch, but I did send her an email about it. Plus, I instructed....loudly....our crew to not let her set FOOT in our booth for any reason and if she did, our director wants to know about it. She was pissed that yesterday's crew didn't tell her the bitch had come back.

They did! Which is why we are so flabbergasted.

I mean, at this point, I'm thinking "mental condition." Who acts like this?!?

She got talked to by both the fair director AND the director in charge of vendors. My company is one of their biggest sponsors, they want us happy. I don't know what got said, but I do know that she got reprimanded. So her behavior, while it baffled us before, outright floors us now.

My director did say she was going to complain to the same people again if there was another incident, and now there has been two (the sleeping and now the trash leaving) so when she gets back from lunch and sees my email, I am sure she will call about it.

I just told G and he was all like "WHAT??? Did you tell (our director)????" He couldn't freaking believe it.

Wow some people really don't know how to get a clue.
Here you have company A (RK's company) - they have provided the ability for other vendors to access the internet in their own booth . . .they are a larger company and one that the fair will take care of.
Then you have booth L (for looser) this is a lady who does not live in reality . . .she thinks that because she is put money into having a booth that allows her access to anything in anyone elses booth. I have to agree that she is overdue for her meeting with a clue by four.

Okay, this is seriously anti climactic, but the entire department has been sent an email making sure everyone is on the same page regarding this psycho, and we also got forwarded an apology from the fair director. She says that the woman has been put on notice that if there is another incident, she will be ejected.

That's cool and all, however, I felt sure that she would be thrown out at this point. I mean, come on, what are they waiting for? For her to physically attack one of our people? Put a brick through our wide screen TV? Geez! She did these last two things AFTER she'd been warned, so, ? I really felt like, "well, that's it, surely they will throw her out now."

I guess some people have a longer fuse than I do.

Okay, one of our guys just came in and said the psycho got pissed and left after the fair people talked to her. So she's gone. Her booth is still there, being rather politely run by another woman we've seen over there. Up to today, I only saw the psycho, I hadn't seen the other woman. I saw the other woman this morning while psycho was making herself scarce. This other woman has not been a problem.

I dont' know if psycho will be back or not, she's got till Sunday, which is the last day. My guess is that she will be back to fuck up our booth over the weekend. Any of you betting folk?

Maybe your company should start consulting an attorney about filing a lawsuit. Usually when you start nailing their ass right where it hurts, in the pocketbook, then ALL reservations about that "woman" will immediately fly out the window.
