I do taste testing for a company here (whom has been hired by Burger King). It amazes me the people that not only get by their screening but try to change the terms to suit their own needs.
The rules are simple:
1) The item needs to be something you'd order (or something you wouldn't not eat)
2) You need to eat the item as-is, you cannot add or remove items from what you're served.
3) You need to show up on time
Simple, eh?
I've seen people take things out then argue with the people who work there that they don't like tomatoes etc.. well, if you don't like tomatoes, then why did you agree to take a taste test for a burger that has tomatoes?
One kid today said he would never eat at Burger King and argued with the people that he does have a right to take the taste test. Um, the purpose is to see what people who would eat there think of products, not try to get new customers. He even threatened with legal action (good luck with that one).
People arrive late and demand to be brought in or put in the next group.
People who get into the room (after being asked TWICE about the item in question) and then claim that they're allergic but still insist on being paid for it.
I've refused a few before - they've asked me to do coffee (but I don't like coffee). Today's was cool, though, BK's cheezy tots (mmmmm). Yep, I got paid $25 to eat a 6 piece of those.
