  • No they will stay away from me

One more time why the hell do I still go to krogers???? This happened a while back but it still pisses me off.Well I'm in Korgers looking at cheese, deciding what kind to buy.Well I hear something real close to my ears. I turn around and there is these two black girl(comes into play later)about 12 years old sniffing my hair(yes sniffing with their noses up to my head).I turn around and they are so close that my nose hit their noses. I did just wash my hair that morning. So I starts yelling what is the fuck do you think you are doing, get the fuck away from me. So of course their wonderful mother comes over, she standing maybe 5 feet from me(seeing her daughters do this).

    MOY-Mother of the year
    Me-No more krogers

MOY- Shut up you don't talk to my daughters like that...You think you are better and can speak like that to them because they are black and you are white. And I tell you....

Me-interupting the cow..Excuse tell your daughters to leave people alone. They were sniffing my hair

MOY- So they can do anything they want,I raised my daughters to...

Me-Interupting the cow again.Oh no they won't,not to me they won't.I have half the mind to call the police.I belive its against the law to touch someone without permission. Next time you better hope its not a child molester they go up to.

MOY-Grabs daughters and practically runs away.

I still don't understand what they were doing? And these girls are gonna have problems with no one to teach them about personal space. if they liked how my shampoo smelled then all they had to do is ask my brand.

To do what? Be complete twatwaffles and play the race card any time someone tries to call them on unacceptable behavior?
Any day you're looking down at the dirt instead of up at the dirt is a good day.

This is going to sound weird but this sort of thing happened to me all the time when I was in school. I don't know if it was a fascination with my hair in particular or with the differences in their hair and mine. I would have black girls fondle my hair and sniff it then discuss amongst themselves a full critique of my hair.

I was the only one who didn't throw a fit when this happened but instead just gave them some very odd looks. Which usually got the response: "Your hair smells nice."

              Um...Ok....

I was constantly having my hair "done" as a kid. The black girls in my school loved to comb and braid my hair. I had long, thick hair. I didn't really mind, it's not like I didn't know the girls.

It was rural South Carolina public school back in the 60's and 70's. If you had long hair, you got used for a hair mannquin.

Geeze, I remember sitting in assemblies, even, and bored girls behind me would start getting busy with my hair. At least they were good at it.

Wow. I'll just consider myself lucky.

The very, very few black girls that live around here just give me dirty looks and usually make a snide remark about me being white, and leave me alone.

One time, I was hanging out with a friend, and we needed to stop by her mother's work for her to get some money. She didn't tell me that her mother was one of those nursemaids for mentally handicapped adults that live in group homes. She also didn't tell me that one of the men was a hair puller.

I had my hair grabbed so hard that I felt it in my neck, and I flipped out.

Anybody wants to smell my hair has to wait for me to either raise my arms or drop my shorts.

That was just too much, Sheldon.

Please don't tell me I need safety glasses and a weed whacker to see your hair?

One day in high school a friend decided to run his fingers through my hair. At the time I was using what was known as "greasy kid stuff". He was not pleased, and never repeated the gesture.

Oh and on OT I used to have a boss that would come up behind me while I was on tech support calls and play with my hair, of course she was the mothering type and we got on really well and I LOVE to have my hair played with by people I'm close to so it was all cool.

And that's the difference. The girls the OP mentioned didn't even know her. I think I'd be weirded out too.

I've had a few of the women at the bar I hang out at play with my hair, and one time one of them even started to braid it. But it was all good, because I knew them, and having my hair played with like that... sort of does something to me.
