    A while ago, I realized I wasn't using the perks that came with the middle-plan at my gym. I asked about changing the plan, and they said to call.

    I called today. Apparently, I need to come in and sign something.

    It may have been that at the time the person who could help you wasn't there. The person you spoke with should have made that clear. Usually only salespeople or management can change a contract.

    It is annoying, though.
