    My faith in humanity has been restored (somewhat anyway)

    This scene takes place at Wendy's (mmm burgers) Ahem... anyway.

    Me: I am just an observer in this case.

    SM: Sucky Man

    NST: Not Sucky Teenager


    I stopped by Wendy's today for my lunch/dinner break at work and went inside to place a to go order for myself and a coworker. On my way out I was behind a young man, I would place at 16 or 17 who had ordered ahead of me. He gets to his car and puts his bag on top of it and unlocks the car door, proceeds to reach for the bag and knocks it off spilling his fries all over his car and the parking lot. What followed made me

    NST: aww sonofa... *looks a little crestfallen and quite a bit mad*

    SM: Hey, no worries man, just go inside and tell them the bag ripped.

    NST: But that's not what happened.

    Me: (no way)

    SM: Hey its no big deal and you'll get your food replaced here, I'll rip it for ya.

    NST: Look man, I'm late to practice already I don't have time for it. And like I said, thats not what Happened, I'll just have to learn to be more careful.

    With that he picked up his bag got in his car and drove away. So Kudos to you sir for not being a sucky person.

          Or at least create some kind of shot, like they do for the flu and stuff. I know there's a word for it...my brain is just locked in malfunction today

            Wow. Makes you wanna high five him AND his parents, because clearly they've taught the kid to 'just say no' to entitlement whores!

            Kidding aside, that rocks. I would hope my teenager would behave similarly in a situation like that.

              my little sister would probably be like 'wtf, who are you?' if anyone approached her...and she'd probably say ok, go inside and tell them EXACTLY what happened, even to the part about the other guy..."So i dropped my fries outside, and some guy told me to come inside and say the bag ripped, but it didn't...NOW what do i do? i'd like more fries but i was told not to lie..." she's thirteen and really pretty, so maybe she'd get a small fries on the house...just for being cute...

                    Once dropped my fries in the parking lot. Darn. Went back inside and asked to purchase more fries, explaining that I'd dropped mine. They gave me free ones. I said "but it wasn't your fault." They said don't worry about it.

                    Sometimes people will just be nice. You don't have to lie to get good customer service.
                    Women can do anything men can.
                    But we don't because lots of it's disgusting.
