That's right. I'm an a-hole for complaining to the board for YEARS about people parking on the lawn. I'm an a-hole for being tired of having to pay special assessments because OTHER people park on the lawns and damage the landscaping and irrigation system.

I'm an a-hole for taking pictures and sending them to the board (and my attorney the next time I get special assessed for this). The pictures include the license plate, the car itself (as well as the front door which has their street # on it).

I'm an a-hole for asking people not to park on the lawn. I'm an a-hole for continually mentioning to the board that nothing has been done about this (I can only assume this since people are STILL parking on the lawn after many years).

Sorry, but if it means that I'm an a-hole because I like having a nice lawn and not have the community look ghettoish and trashy because people like to park on the lawn (mainly because they're to lazy to walk from the parking lot - an extra 50 feet at most), then I'll be an a-hole.

This is your lawn as in YOU own the property, right? Just call the cops next time too. Get them towed for tresspassing on the property.
