The Goth Girl behind the counter was just sad/angry that she's always confused as a vampire now...(thank you South Park!)
    ...per se...

So now we have to find and destroy the Hot Topic in her area, right?

      B-*-T-C-H. Say it with me.

She was so horrible to you! I think you're one of the better looking people I've seen in comic book stores

I think you are rather cute, not anything like a fat pimple faced comics geek so I have no idea why that ensued ...

and for the record, i like esoteric movies, and one of the few places I can walk in and have quite a selection of wierd movies is a local comic book store and most of the patrons I see nowadays are not the old pimplefaced geek type. I see skinny emo goth, I see skinny earnest SF geeks who want to explain in excruciating detail something about their specific geekdom, I see pagan types ... I see a wide selection of everybody, including the occasional 50ish businessman types.

Put it down to them just having a bad day and ignore them?

Did you complain? Because generally it's not good for business to have employees who insult and refuse to serve customers. How completely bizarre. I like your suit, by the way!
It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.

And I'm tired of people who go goth just so they can get away with being a total bitch to everyone for no reason whatsoever.
Indeed. I have lots of goth friends, and they don't always agree with me. But that behavior really is ridiculous.

Oh behalf of indie-comic readers, I apologize for your previous experiences.

            PS: You're a cutie. ^^
            Aww, thanks.

            And apology accepted. =3

It is absolutely ridiculous to behave in that manner. I mean, even when I worked at Ye Olde Video Shoppe* I never got insulted the customers. Even if they mixed up Animal House and Animal Farm.

Oh, but when they retuned it... Oh, that's a story for another day.

Goth looking girl behind the counter takes one look at what I'm getting, and YELLS "I'm tired of selling things to you overweight pimpled freaks!" stomps her foot and runs into the break room, leaving the store unattended.
              Nice suit.
Did you pay for the books? Obviously, she wanted you to to have them without paying for them since she left you at the counter.

Well, ifn you're in the Neptune/Wall Twp area of NJ, and you need a good store, check out Collinswood Auction, ifn Dennis is still there (its been 7 yrs since i lived out there) hit him up, its not a comic store per se, but he does take orders, anything you want out of the Diamond Catalog, and back then he was charging 20% off cover price.

As to the binder thing, i tried that, but couldn't find any pages that fit quite right, plus they tended to sag a bit.

As to the box thing, maybe we should start an online petition, that way we can show Rubbermaid that there's a market for a narrower version of their standard tote box. Something waterproof, durable, better protection and easy to carry. Only problem i can see is that it'd likely cost 2 to 3 times that of a cardboard box, but for those advantages, it might be worth it.

I actually don't like a lot of plastic totes because of the sloping sides and rounded corners (I'm not looking for right angle but these round a little much for my taste) between that and the lids that go lower than the top of the tote you actually lose a lot of storage space, especially for uniform items like cds, books and movies. I realize it's so they can stack empty but I would prefer them not to and give me more storage space.

I can remember seeing a rigid clear plastic sort of box, I think it is a food service item ... let me google and see if i can find it.

                      hmmm...

http://www.solentplastics.co.uk/real...storage-boxes/ is close but not what I remember form working US Foodservice...

http://www.diytrade.com/china/4/prod...age_boxes.html a bit closer, maybe too flimsy

not a bocx but geekie good

Of course-BK does not throw out compliments that are undeserved-I believe I've complimented Gravekeeper's voice, Broomjockey's height, MystyGlitter's beauty*, and the strength of RecoveringKinkoid, Idrinkarum, and Misanthrope(they are very strong women)

(what was unexpected was the suit-I'm totally used to standard black/grey-not red, but I can say it "suits" you)
