I always thought that rule was stupid. What about bottoms?
I myself have asked the same question, and I have yet to receive a response.

Oh, and before you say anything IPF...I was too shocked to get a picture. Well, that and I don't have a camera phone, and it could look weird whipping my camera out in the middle of Target to take a picture of a half-naked chick. Just sayin'....
not like she can sue you for taking photos of her while she's half naked
since she decided to go out in public that way

I've been known to go from my morning run to the store to do a quick shopping trip. That's because I work from 1200-2100, which leaves no time in the evening to shop. If I want food, somtimes that's how I have to do it. Which means I'll be in the store in my running top (basically a sports bra that is a real shirt) and shorts or running pants, whichever I've worn that day. I don't think I'm exposing too much, and I do my best to make sure I don't smell, but I simply have no choice.

If I was in better shape, in this weather, I'd likely be wearing a sports bra and shorts most mornings. Personally I don't see anything wrong with that, as long as all the pertinent bits are covered.

Personally I miss the days when people wore hats and gloves to go shopping.

Yeah, I'm old enough to remember that. I was born in '67 and my folks were doing it.

                What's 100 degrees?

Oh.....nevermind. That's about 30 degrees warmer than it's been all summer here in Wisconsin.

a crazy person who comes in and shops in his bathrobe!
Back when I worked at the liquor store, we had a woman come in every day for cigs. Always in a ratty and threadbare robe that left nothing to the imagination. I don't see how someone can just leave the house like that and not care.

Actually, to tell you the truth, a woman wearing just a sports bra doesn't get to me all that much. I've seen plenty of women like that. I don't even gawk at them. It's workout attire and it keeps enough covered up.

Now some big, hairy guy in a wife-beater and a banana hammock on the other hand...

Then you'd probably like the old woman I saw grocery shopping wearing a fur coat and a fur hat.

I guess I was always raised to be quite conservative...I don't even like a little bit of my stomach showing when I'm out. Even around here in Florida, we don't usually see people out at the store in sports bras and short shorts.

As far as the 'no bottoms', I guess that's either a given or it allows for women to wear dresses? It would be WAY illegal to go out in public with boy or girl bits hanging out....gah!

I was raised to know your limits....you can only show off one feature at a time, not hte whole thing! Either you're going to show some cleavage or some leg, but not both at the same time!
