  • Sighting in a commercial

Watching tv I saw a commercial that ticked me off! It shows a woman in a store loading a basket with tylenol then seeing the aleve, she picks it up and looks at it, then throws the full basket down in the middle of the aisle and walks off. IDIOTS I don't want to buy aleve ever now.
wouldn't lube work better in a f***ing machine?

Yes, that’s right. It’s a pair of gold foil headphones. Gold foil. Finally, headphones just as awful as your taste in music.

Maybe there should be a disclaimer on the bottom of the screen, like they do for medications.

*Warning: Do not throw the basket on the floor. This ad is only a demonstration of what not to do. Doing so will result in employees betting you over the head repeatedly with the basket.

I know that commercial! The first time I saw it I was watching TV with my mom and couldn't stop myself from saying "THAT BITCH!"

...My mom didn't understand my annoyance...

It's probably because of stupid commercials like these that most customers won't see anything wrong with it.

Meh. I'm so jaded those kinds of commercials don't get to me anymore.

Every commercial on TV could show people reshelving their unwanted items in the correct spots, and re-folding their unwanted clothes and putting them back where they belong, and the morons who just toss their shit wherever would keep on doing it.

Yep, another commercial that encourages people to be SCs.

Then there's an Oscar Meyer one I've seen a few times where a smug looking woman brings deli equipment to a checkout followed by a deli employee. She is buying a person! He doesn't scan, of course, so the cashier calls "Price check on deli man".

Seriously. Buying a person! Who thought this was a good idea!? Goes to prove that a lot customers ( and ad execs, apparently ) think retail employees are some kind of robots or something.

If that bitch does something like that, she's going to need something much stronger than Allieve when I'm done with her.

                  What a BITCH.

I understand the implication, but if you make an ad about that, you're losing everyone who works retail.
