Please let me T-bone them #2

This is getting to be a reoccuring theme with me lately.

I was coming up to a major intersection and was preparing to get over into the left turn lane. Now there were a line of cars sitting in the normal "go forward lane" at red light. as I am about 10 feet away from the entrance to the left turn lane a mini-van pulls out in front of me from the line of cars and almost pulls a U-turn but instead pulls into the driveway of a house. I had to slam on my breaks just to avoid a T-bone AGAIN.

The van sits in the driveway for a minute and then backs out and goes in the oppsite direction leaving me to wonder WTF?????

I remember wishing the same thing about an intersection I have to drive through to get to work, because part of the intersection is on/off ramps for the interstate. Way too many times folks coming up to get on to the interstate would blow through the stop sign and cross over to the ramp. Many times I would think 'Just once let them get t-boned.' Then one morning, I'm on the off ramp waiting to go, and it happened. Guy in an SUV slows down and just pauses at the stop sign, not stopped but rolling slowly. Pickup truck is coming in the lane that has the right of way. There is NO REASON the guy at the stop sign couldn't see him, yet he just keeps going anyway. WHAMMO. I could hear the crunching metal. And it was not a glancing hit, this was the textbook definition of a t-bone, right into both side doors of the SUV.

Karma. She can be a bitch.

Guy in an SUV slows down and just pauses at the stop sign, not stopped but rolling slowly.

Karma. She can be a bitch.

Ah, the "rolling stop." Cops can ding you for those.

Of course, karma got him in a better way. (As long as the guy who got T-boned wasn't seriously hurt, mind you.)

Yeah, both of them were OK. I could tell Mr. Pickup was super pissed though, and rightly so.

What I hate is the person who speeds all the way to the stop sign. They all too often look like they don't plan on stopping. And then of course there's Mr. "It's my god given right to turn right on red".
