Short quick one from today.
On the way to uni, I happened to be driving along one of our main roads...a four-lane road (both ways). At this particular point, there's an entrance to a freeway so there's a traffic light there. While I happened to be waiting at the lights, I hear this horn from another car.
Turns out that on the other side (that is, going the OTHER way), this taxi driver suddenly decided that right then and there was the best time to pull over. Trouble is, there is very little space for someone to pull over on the side of the road there. If you need to pull over, there are a number of turnoffs to side-streets, a turnoff to a little residental access area and a McDonalds, along with TWO petrol stations. In fact, if he'd gone just a little bit further, he could've pulled over into a side road.
His response to the angry driver was to stick his head and arms out and give a friendly wave. Several other cars slowed down and then the driver decided that it was now time for him to pull out onto the main road again.
Now it wasn't that something was busted (he didn't get out of the car) or that he stalled (he actually did PULL OVER), it was just a big fat
