It stopped snowing 8 hours ago. It's 3:53 am and NOW you decide to plow that parking lot over there? Even 10:00 pm would've been better! What were you doing all night? The only thing I can think of is your other job gets out at 3:00? Well, that figures in this alcoholic town. I don't know. I just want to sleep.

My first thought would be that the company Mr. Plow works for has too many driveways/parking lots/city streets to plow and not enough workers or plowtrucks.
In NJ all plowing is done by contractors, so they plow the roads first and ONLY AFTER the roads are clear do they get to start working on contracted plowing for private businesses and homes, which can mean they're out pretty late doing so, and working nearly 14-16 hour shifts.Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

Makes sense to pick a time when it's almost guaranteed to be free of parked vehicles, to maximise the swept area & minimise the risk of damage or wanderers getting scooped up. Still, I can appreciate the unwelcome disturbance to sleep. This was one of those times where my mouth says "have a nice day" but my brain says "go step on a Lego". - RegisterAce
