Today I had blood work. Afterwords I ate a huge breakfast cause I had to fast for the work and had to wait 2 hours to get the tests and needed to run by the store which is across the street.
The road between the two places is a main drag and for some reason the cross walk here has no light, which is especially weird cause its on an intersection that leads to the post office, the police station and library.
I look both ways of course see that I have a pretty clear route and start walking across. About half way across a truck who had time to see my is still going full speed down the road. I stop cause I don't want to die and mumble under my breath.
I continue across and another truck who had even longer to see me and slow down and stop nearly hits me, I am luckily able to stop in time to prevent myself from walking in front of this truck stopping just about 2 inches from this truck.
I yell at this one 'I am very visible you had time to stop!'
Why am I visible? Pink pants, Black shirt, broad daylight and I'm a big girl.
