    Just a quickie:

We have four spaces on our block and then there's yellow paint on the corner indicating don't park there. Well, someone parked there.

Guy had a Range Rover with dealer plates. Cop breezed by while he was out doing whatever it was and pulled over to give him a ticket.

Guy came back while she was writing the ticket - looks like he was picking up lunch from the Saladworks on the next block. It's lunch rush so I'm not surprised if there weren't any spaces on the main drag, but he could have tried to park across the street in the Wawa parking lot or he could have pulled into the side street next to us and illegally parked there. At least there it's off the main drag and the cops are usually a bit lenient as people park there to pick up their kids from the music store, to pick up stuff from the corner bakery, etc.

Anyway, seems like the guy didn't give her any static - she had him dead to rights. He just took the ticket and drove off. Hope the salad was worth the extra $30.

I wonder if that was the most expensive meal he ever had?
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.

Here's my favorite recent karmic bit: Traffic in both directions was stopped on one of the local main streets while a school bus unloaded students. Then, someone driving an old VW van decided they didn't want to wait, and breezed past the waiting traffic by driving down the center lane. The local deputy who was waiting with the rest of the traffic promptly pulled the van over. I was close enough to see the big smile on the deputy's face as he hit the lights.

These are the same braindead morons that are also sucky customers. On a daily basis I wonder how they drove to the store without killing themselves or an innocent person.

What's the law with dealer plates in your area?
I remember back in AZ the problem with photo radar and commercial tags, basically all they could do was send a note to the company, and ask them to give the ticket to the employee driving the vehicle. If the company round filed the ticket, there wasn't anything they could do as only an individual can be punished for not paying a ticket. Obviously this loophole got exploited. I wonder if the same may go for dealer tags in your area, meaning the ticket is effectively worthless.
