I was on my way to work today, and as is not unusual, I was stuck in traffic. The freeway between The Town Where I Live and The Town Where I Work just isn't wide enough to accommodate the traffic that goes through there in this day and age, and especially on Fridays and Sundays it tends to get jammed up to the point where a 20-mile commute can take up to an hour.
I'm in the middle lane not moving very fast in the stop-and-go traffic. In the left lane is a Bolt Bus (a commuter express that runs in between a few of the major cities up here and has fancy seats and Wi-Fi.) As I'm coasting along, I see the Bolt Bus stop in the lane. That's not surprising - I'm pretty much coasting myself. What does surprise me is a second later, when the door opens and the driver emerges, adjusts the rear-view mirror, and then walks around to close the lid on the gas cap which had been hanging open.
That's... definitely not helping the state of traffic any. Or very encouraging to your passengers about your skill as a driver they've put their lives in the hands of.
