  • Parking Justice Finally Served

Lately I have had to deal with a rash of idiot drivers parking erratically in handicapped spaces. In most cases, it's been places where I know the cops aren't going to give a damn, so I have to just grit my teeth and move on.

    Not today!

I got to school and found an asshat worthy of an Argabarga tow. Check this out: (click to expand)

Yes, this spezhul snowflake felt they needed to take up TWO handicapped spots. It was not a special vehicle needing extra space to allow a wheelchair ramp to extend, and even if it had been, as you can see from the picture there are the oversized hatched spots to either side that he could have used.

This being on a college campus, the campus police (which are actually city police) were very happy to swing by and plop a ticket on the windshield. I had hoped to see who it was who parked there, and revel in the justice of it, but my class was over before they returned.

Protecting the precious automotive surrogate phallus, of course.

BTW, love the phrase "gluteal haberdashery".

Did they at least have a handicapped plate or hang-tag?
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers

I suspect not, so they're in even deeper trouble...

Well, EvilEmpryss already called them an asshat, I didn't want to be repetitive

Why do you believe they were thinking in the first place?
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

I do hope they got a double fine, as they were taking up two spaces...

There has to have been some brain activity going on there, because they must have at least been breathing and, y'know, moving. And there was enough conscious brain activity to steer them neatly up to the kerb - it's a good parking job if you ignore the painted lines. So, yeah, there was something you could call 'thought' going on if you don't insist on rational thought...

The nice thing about handicap spaces being extra-wide is that it allows two people (with the appropriate permit, of course) to park close enough to his vehicle to block him from opening his doors and getting in.
