  • *****ing bikers.

I don't mind cycling. It's fun, it's healthy, and it's a good way to get around.

But what I detest, are those cyclists who feel that it is a brilliant idea to ride on roads despite there being a path off the side. I can understand if there's a lack of one but then there are those who stupidly go into the road and not caring.

The other week I saw one cyclist who was placed well into the road, not caring about the cars behind him. Just today I saw two of them riding on the road but not the path off to the side even though it's wide and it's safer.

It's going to be a long summer I'm afraid.

    It sure is.

We might as well just get rid of the bicycle lanes all over this city, because I swear, almost every cyclist around here thinks he is Lance Armstrong and ignores or thinks he's too good for that, and rides in traffic, with automobiles going speeds of 15 to 20 in zones of 35 or even higher.

I get this urge when I see a cyclist thinking he's part of traffic and has the right to clog up traffic to just send him flying onto the curb.

    But I've resisted. For now.

I used to have a friend that did bike courier work.

He got pulled over for speeding a few times.

He was still a menace to drivers, but for very different reasons.
