I'm convinced that left turns are the cause for everything bad in the world.

I was driving through town, and came to a red light. The left turn lane on the intersecting street was completely empty, as the turn signal went from green to yellow to off. Two pedestrians, seeing no cars, decided to cross in front of my car, as they had the "walk" sign on and everything.
Clownshit Crazy comes screaming off the intersection, making a left turn, missing the pedestrians by at least a foot and a half. Pedestrians began screaming obscenities at the now-dangerously-speeding-away Clownshit Crazy.

I only caught a glimpse, but it appeared to me that Clownshit's face had the rosy glow of inebriation. I hate people.

I agree. I may be weird, but especially in this town, I will go out of my way to not turn left unless I have a light with an arrow. People are crazy - I saw a motorcyclist get creamed by some guy turning left in a pickup truck. Smashed the bike into a car that was stopped at a red light. It was stupid on both their parts. I think the biker was okay, he seemed to be anyway. Full protective gear ftw!

During college, I was walking through town and at the intersection of the two busiest streets in the entire town, some idiot turned right through a group of pedestrians that were legally crossing (WALK was lit). He didn't yield and barely even slowly down. He actually parted the crowd. It was a minor miracle that no one was hit, though at least one person punched his car, several flipped him off, and all of them were yelling at the idiot.

Unbelievable.

But the BEST part........on the sidewalk there was a motorcycle cop, and he immediately flipped on his lights and took off after the guy, pulling him over about 100 yards up the road. That was absolutely glorious. One of the few times I've seen a cop in the right place at the right time to catch an idiot like this.

Can I be the one to break trend and point out that the 'turn on left arrow' sign is my worst enemy... nothing is more irritating than sitting at an intersection watching traffic going "i could of gone there... and there... and there..."

For me, U-Turns mid block is the root of all evil... those assholes are always backing up traffic in salt lake.
