No not me.
Last week I was driving home from work about 9:30 PM on one of the main roads with multiple side streets. Out of no where a newer Toyota sedan flys out of one of the streets, slam on the brakes int he middle of the road and slowly makes the turn hitting the curb in the process. He pauses for a second and slowly proceeds down the road with no lights and weaving all over the road. He would get about three or four feet over the double yellow, quickly correct almost hit the curb and repeat. The driver then would gun it speed up to 50+ MPH then slam on the brakes down to 20 and start the cycle all over again.
I call 911 about a minute into his little trip and get connected to a neighboring states dispatch center as I was a few miles form the border. They transfer me to the correct center. I followed the guy until he stopped, looked back at me and sped off repeatable.
Well I saw in the paper today the guy was caught and arrested for DUI, driving W/O a license (his was revoked after his 3rd DUI), burglary tools and a warrant.
On just my 4-5 mile commute each way in a suburban area I seem to have called 911 more than I realized at night. Once for a guy doing highway speeds in the wrong lane, twice for people standing outside a local hardware store or other closed businesses at 10 PM with crowbars and such and a hit an run involving a car hitting a parked car, backing up and leaving. The hit and run guy was also caught, had no license.
