  • unless you're a hot girl dont flash your highbeams!

So I work nightshift alot, obviously this means that I drive to work when it's night.

now the road i take to work isn't well lit, there's very few streetlights on it, which does suck but whatever I deal with it.

I can count on a DAILY basis the people I see with their highbeams on either coming towards me OR travelling behind me.

Worst was an asshole following me (probably some redneck teenager who thought he was fucking hilarious) flashing his highbeams on and off every... 20 - 30 seconds or so.

But to those who drive with them on constantly.. IF you cannot see at night well enough that you CANNOT drive without highbeams on you should NOT be driving at night. It blinds other drivers and causes a huge hazard just because you have no goddamn nightvision.

Hearing you loud and clear, all the way.

People and their brights as a security blanket their entire trip are just INFURIATING.

Nearly everyone in his town either has their brights on all night, or have regular lights so bright they might as well BE brights.

My car doesn't even have tinted windows, so there is no relief!

My problem is the opposite, and will be remedied as soon as I get rid of my damned HID headlights. I HATE THEM. My husband put them on the truck for some man reason or whatever, and I constantly get high beams flashed at me when my high beams arent even on. Trust me, if my high beams were on, those people wouldnt even be able to see to find thier flicky switch. Grr.

I feel for you guys. Every night I have to deal with at least one or two morons who think that it's perfectly fine to have your high beams on on a busy freeway.

Yea I hate those damn bright lights (I dont have them myself). But i've done that before, flashed my highbeams at someone thinking 'that ass has them on' only to (once closer) realize, ah crap they dont its the damn halogen lights.

I read a year or so back they're not making those paticular headlights anymore because they are TOO bright on regular settings (so that it blinded other drivers).

I could be wrong but who knows.

In my case, I can drive quite well at night with only my normal lights, but, on occasion, I have been known to flash someone who has their brights on.

Last one I flashed (at 300 or so metres) was a cop car. The cop waved to me as we passed.
