Cars slow, some stop, some go through
Light turns red
Cars stop
Short pause while all directions get red lights
Light for the other direction turns green
Large dump truck with trailer blows through the red at least 20km/hr over the limit
If he had got there a quarter second earlier the odds are about 100% that he would have nailed someone starting through the intersection on the green.
If I had not been in a left-turn lane facing the red I would have gone after the jackass and phone the cops.
