Had this one the other day. It's a beautiful, sunny day, unseasonably warm. I am on my way to class and heading through I little residential area. I come up to an awkward intersection (the road curves slighty, like a wobbly cross). I am in the cross traffic street, which usually means they don't stop. The other street has a VERY large stop sign. Note: warm day, near 5PM, there are loads of kids out playing in the street, which is fine, I usually go slow and they'll wave and move out of the way in time.
Well, this lady apparently is blind. She comes barrelling out of the side street, nearly hitting 3 kids, then decides to turn onto my street, right in front of me, without stopping, or even pausing for that matter. Now, had I not been going slow, I would have hit her head on, failry hard because of her speed. She stops and I stop and she starts cussing and flipping the bird. My windows do not work, so I casually open the door and yell from my seat, "I'm sorry. I don't understand stupid. Can you please repeat that in English?" She gets all huffy and takes off down the street. I just roll my eyes and call to the kids who were almost hit, to make sure they were ok. They smiled and waved and said they were alright and how cool I was for telling her off. I am really starting to enjoy this neighborhood. Aside from the dumbasses like her.
