Whoever designed the one in my town did not design it for the amount of traffic.
There are a couple exits onto the main road, but one gets really backed up. I was with my friend who was driving. We came to an intersection in the parking lot that led to the light. It's a 3-way stop. There are stop signs and everything. We were first at one of the short ends of the T, waiting to turn left. To our left on the long part of the T was a white truck that was there before us. And across from us on the other short part of the T was another car that was there before us.
The light turned green. Once the cars that were past the stop signs went, the white truck and the other car in front of us went.
Behind the white truck was a red mustang. They had to stop at the stop sign. Because even though the light was green, they still had that stop sign to get past. My friend started to go, going towards the left-turn lane.
The mustang didn't stop at the sign at all, and kept coming towards us, going into the left-turn lane as well.
My friend had most of the front of her car into the turning lane at this point, but the mustang was still trying to cut in front of us. Finally they stopped or my friend sped up, I don't remember exactly, and we got in front of them.
They honked at us even though we had the right of way to turn in front of them since we were at the stop sign first(and we were to their right if we somehow got to the stop sign at the same time, which wasn't the case).
