We recently got some strong wind and rain which caused power outages. Well the power is back on but some of the light are not working properly and have defaulted to their flashing yellow in one direction and a flashing red in the other. In this case due to trees you can only see about 15-20 feet of the lane entering from the right until you are about 10 feet away.
I have the flashing yellow, not being able to see the entire intersection I slow down to make sure no one is planning on running the red. Well they stopped, however the moron behind me is not happy.
When I put on my brakes he starts honking and starts to straddle the double yellow. As I enter the intersection he guns it and passes me, I had to slam on my brakes and pull to the right to avoid him hitting me. Remember how I said it rained. Good. Because the road was till wet when he pulled out of his turn at 35 MPH or so whit his foot still on the gas his back tires loose traction and he does a 180 and slams into the curb.
When I passed he was inspecting the damage to his pretty rims on a 10+ y/o Civic with a body kit.
