Look, I don't care if you never drive a car, bike, drive a buggy, etc. You still need to learn (at least some) of the rules of the road. Standing in the parking lot right BEFORE the stop sign is rather stupid and rude. Yes, I know that it's a parking lot, but not all the drivers wait for pedestrians. While we're on the topic of stop signs, please bear in mind that a lot of drivers stop at them, even in parking lots. This means that starting to cross the road after the driver has come to a full stop, and has had just about enough time to switch his foot from brake to gas, is not wise.

Gah, I HATE the days when we get offered the car for errands. Because then it's rude to not use it.
