I have to tell this story, just to get it off my chest. I visited my nephew today, and we walked across town so that he could get a haircut. We realized partway there that walking in the heat was bad, but, that's off topic, really. His friend, a hairdressing student, cut his hair, then gave us a ride back across town. We dropped the nephew at his place, and he declared that I could "guide her to where to park". Alright, fine. I know where I parked. So I tell her "Take a left, go straight ahead 2 blocks, then take a right. Lot will be on your south." Well, she ended up turning right a block too soon. So, I told her she'd have to make a left--but I didn't mean right at that exact moment! She turned left, right then, from the right hand lane of a one-way street. This street was close to the LEC, and, unfortunately for her, there was a police cruiser sitting at the intersection. She got pulled over (rightfully), and had no insurance. Now her car is impounded until she gets insurance on it! **facepalm** Learn to listen to directions, chick, and this wouldn't have happened! Of course, I got home, and my brother (nephew must've called him) called my dad to tell him what happened, and get my side of things. **sigh** I was an innocent party, y'all, I promise! Anyway, I just wanted to get the frustration of it off my chest. **deep breath** I feel better now.

I agree with the above; it wasn't like you held a gun to her head and FORCED her to give you a ride! Completely her fault, but that won't keep her from laying on the guilt."If anyone wants this old box containing the broken bits of my former faith in humanity, I'll take your best offer now. You may be able to salvage a few of em' for parts..... " - Quote by Argabarga
