instant karma....FTW!

So a friend and I are driving along heading to his house to hang out, when I pass this car.

I happen to glance to the side and notice that its either a: an unmarked car with a police woman inside (she was in uniform), or B: an off duty officer heading home.

well I'm plugging along in the left lane (4 lanes with a turn lane in the middle), getting ready to merge over to the left at a light to turn down my friends road.

all the while this guy is just riding my tailgate close enough for me to demand dinner and a movie first! suddenly I move along far enough for him to speed around me, complete with reving engine and squealing tires, a blowing horn, and a newyork hello!

not a second after that....the lovely police lady that I had properly passed...chirped her sirens and sped after the guy pulling him over not 10 more feet down the road.

I laughed the entire time I passed him!

That happened to us on the way to the coast one weekend. Guy was up my tailpipe, on a 2-lane road, in the mountains. No where to pass. I was already going over the speed limit, but apparently since I wasn't going at the speed of sound, I was poking along. He found a somewhat straight area & zoomed past me (and a few other cars) in a no-passing zone. About 5 minutes up the road, we saw an Oregon State Trooper parked by the side of the road, with Speed Demon sitting in front of his car. We made sure to smile & wave as we drove past.
