  • Work Truck Park Fail!

Went shopping to the sporting goods store and saw a local business's work truck parked crosswise in a handicap parking space and the regular parking space next to it; effectively blocking anyone from using the handicap space cause the ass-end of his truck was in it. I didn't hesitate and left a note on the truck about what an inconsiderate asshole the driver was being (I did check to make sure it wasn't a handicap vehicle, don't worry!) I also called the business number on the truck, but when a 'Gentleman' answered and I said I had a complaint about one of his work vehicles and he said he only had one, I suspected he was also the owner and most likely the guy who was driving the truck! I told him that parking like that was inconsiderate and lazy. He had a very 'whatever' attitude and asked what I expected him to do about it, so I just wrapped-up by saying I wanted him to be aware of his Drivers' behavior and how someone might get very upset over them doing this. I suppose I should have warned him that he's lucky nobody called the police to ticket him.

I feel a little silly for kicking up a fuss over this, but I see this shit at work all the time and am never free to say what I really think. And this was just pure laziness that he didn't take the extra 5-seconds to straighten-out his parking. I'll remember the company name and make sure to never use them!

I always like to note the business. And if I got that attitude, I would make sure if I ever needed the services that business provided, to go to their competitors.

Personally I'd have hung up & called the cops straight off. Maybe a ticket would have changed his attitude.

if not that then it'd at least start the process of training him.

Would have called him to complain AFTER the cop I called had ticketed him.
