  • Are you really in that big of a hurry?

I was driving today down the main road near my house, which has a few lanes going both ways. I was in the lane farthest to the right, at a red light waiting to turn right (and with several people in front of me). This numbnuts in a pickup decides he doesn't want to wait, and passes us while having one side of his car on the sidewalk, and then makes his right turn, speeding off down the street.

Wow! It's a good thing he didn't hit anyone.

Oh, I'm sorry--I missed the memo that said you had moved here. They do the same thing here, except go in the ditch to do it.

Oh, since moving back home to mom and dad's, and that infamous left turn where everyone goes sailing into the gravel ditch just to save 3 seconds........

Yup, daily entertainment, when I'm coming from that direction. Shit ya not, every time someone is behind me, and I'm turning left onto my parents' street but have to yield for someone.......there they go....if I have my radio down enough, I can hear gravel and tires making sweet rough love as they go off into the ditch just to not have to wait 3 seconds.
