So, even though I work moving boxes around, in a way, I still have to deal with dumb things customers do.
Case in point:
Today in my trailer, 5 boxes came down. These 5 were from a company that offers one product: Ice cream.
Ice.
Cream.
My warehouse is about 95 degrees. The TRAILERS are about 115. It's been in one or the other for over a day by this point and will continue to be so for another. The freaking boxes even say "Keep Refrigerated" on them. The boxes, I might add, were damp and leaking water. I really, really, REALLY hope it's condensation from some blue ice or something. They weren't even in styrofoam like other food companies put their products in.
My question is, why not use a refrigerated shipping service? I'm glad <package service> is used so much but what the hell? All I can see is some call center rep getting a call that could have been avoided.
