Do you have a smartphone that works with Google Voice and disposable numbers?

not a bad idea really. although with google voice if you change a number it costs you 10 bucks.

but even without a smart phone you use google voice.
you just have to remember to turn off call forwarding when you don't want work calls - and then turn it back on when you do.

i don't have a regular phone myself (just the tracfone) but one option i do is "do not disturb" mode (ipod touch). only people who can get throu to me on it are people on my "favorites"
so that may be something to look into as well

That... is sheer genius. I'll look into it as soon as I haven't spent 14 hours driving after 5 hours of sleep.

That's another idea too. on my tracfone i have several call profiles. Normal is pretty much everything at full volume. Silent is the traditional silent & vibrate. "Custom 1" is everything set to silent without vibrate.

if you can do that, say a custom "off work" setting where the main ringer is silent and everyone else is a custom ringtone that may work too
