Heh heh. Maybe I’m beyond jaded by now, but this is damn funny.
Membership cards are printed every 3 years however, the dues must be paid annually. It says that on the card and it says that on bill. It’s really not that hard if you pay attention. I can’t tell you how many people send their payment slip in with some snarky message scribbled about how we are WRONG!!!
I just got one today indicating in a crude and vulgar way that they are paid up for 2 more years, and to check our $@#&*^#$# records. Since the customer is king, I checked our $@#&*^#$# records and discovered that they are NOT paid in full for 2 more years. I was sad for them and cried a little.
There are other fine obscenities on the slip as well, and while I could generate another billing statement to be sent out, I’m not going to.
I think I will just return the one they sent in, along with the standard “CARDS are printed every 3 years, DUES are billed annually” letter. That way they can have the fun of whiting out the vulgarities before it comes back with their check. As Nelson would say, “HA HA!”
Why get so uptight about it people?
