Iced coffee, only instead of ice, I use a frozen banana. Good way to get some richness into the beverage without cream, and I sneak in an extra fruit serving.

Either way, I'll need a portable fridge w/me just for my creamer, otherwise it could disappear b/c of the other coffee nuts we have.
You can buy those sealed individual serving creamer things you see in restaurants. As long as the seal stays intact they don't have to be refrigerated.

        Cream?
No thank you. I take it black, like my men.

I only make and drink my coffee cold.

Ice Cold that is, with milk, cinnamon, sugar and a pinch of salt.

Yes, I know a lot of you will say that is not real coffee, but the original SC would get nowhere trying to convince me that coffee must always be available hot. I am the guy who puts the pot in the fridge to cool down in the first place.
I like coffe with ice in it. Better than blistering, burn off your tongue kind that it seems a lot of people like, especially guests. I like coffee from central South America, I went there once and could live on it for days with some homemade bread and be on cloud nine. Ah...

I have now been banned from making coffee at my last three workplaces, mom and dad's house and my in-laws. Apparently I make my coffee too strong for anyone else to drink, lol. I like it very strong, navy style and keep a small machine in my locker at work for my personal use.

Navy style? Do you put salt in it, or is that a myth started by Tom Clancy?

Tried those . . . they spoiled too quickly (went out within a week of the date on the box.)

Nothing like opening one of those little guys and . . . blech.

                  Haven't bought those since.

Not a myth. When I was working for NASA at Cape Kennedy back in the late 60s, I was told they put some salt in the coffee because it cut down on bathroom breaks.

Wait, isn't salt -- much like caff -- a mild diuretic? Or am I just not thinking straight this evening >_<

IIRC salt causes fluid retention, unlike caffeine which is considered to be a mild diuretic.

Just a pinch of salt enhances the flavour quite a bit. So, yup, I add a little bit of salt to the grinds when I'm prepping the coffee maker. Got to be strong enough that even with one cream added it still looks black.

I suppose you are supposed to make a fresh pot every 20 minutes for no one... so in five hours of no one drinking coffee, that's 15 pots down the drain.
