Quick Background - I work in a call center. No, it's not tollfree, it's sharecall - we pay half, the customer pays half.

It takes at LEAST 5 minutes to send settings to your phone and explain the installation procedure. What, didja think you'd ask for the settings, and a little purple fairy will POP into existence and sprinkle fair dust over your phone?
Don't pretend you don't understand English. If you can understand enough to answer the questions "You have a *model phone* and you're looking for settings?" then you can understand the bloody installation instructions!
Pay Attention To The Perky Voice On The Other End! I'm trying to be as quick as possible so that you can carry on with your life, please don't make go through the whole installation spiel, only for you to say "Ok...can you say that again please?"
You get NO LOVE if you do it twice!
Listen to the bloody IVR. I personally recorded that IVR. It couldn't be more simple if we tried. The only way it could be easier was if we were to make the selection FOR you. Quit pressing 2 for data when you have an issue on how to set a picture as a background on your phone!
