Quoth Lace Neil Singer View PostUpdate: Apparently, Mr Jones is under arrest for punching a policeman after he went to pick his car up and was told how much he'd have to pay to get it back. O_o

Quoth Lace Neil Singer View PostNo, he doesn't. Just can't believe how much this situation escalated... O_o
And you just know he'll be whining to anyone who will listen about how he was "ripped off" by both the gas station who had it towed and the impound lot, and finally that it "wasn't his fault" that he punched a cop because everyone was ganging up on him for something ridiculous like a little ol' parking problem.
Oh, and it was probably good that your CW didn't mention the charge to get his car back. It might have gotten her punched.Last edited by notalwaysright; 02-08-2016, 09:35 PM.Replace anger management with stupidity management.

He definitely knew it was leaking when he brought it in. Probably filled it up and noticed the leak and was scared to drive it so just left it there for you to deal with (without saying anything) while he went to his meeting. At a minimum he should have said something.
If it was me I would have gone in and explained the situation "I was just filling up my car and noticed my gas tank is leaking. Don't really want to drive it right now. I'll call a tow truck to get it to a repair shop but what should I do with it in the meantime?"

Punching the cops... That seems so perfectly in-character for said sucktomer! Is there any way this could get better?“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers
