Not wanting to derail anyone else's "ruined Christmas" thread, I post the following for your enjoyment:
The scene: Christmas Day 2016
Our story begins:
I work in a drug store. We were open today, of course, even though the pharmacy part of our store was not (what???). I’m in a small town, and Walmart was closed, so other than 2 gas stations, we were the only place open. No, it wasn’t busy, why do you ask? LOL
Some of the crazy requests I got today …. charcol (for the grill), all kinds of liquor (nope, we do have beer and wine though), and the one I have NEVER heard in almost 40 years of retail …… (remember, this is a drug store)
POTATOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I told him no, he asked me if I had any at home I could get for him. WTH?????
Grateful to have survived yet another Holiday Season
