Only one pizza place in the area has those mobile debit machines, so with anyone else it's cash or credit card, and those places all have mini-imprint devices for credit card orders. Takes about as long as the mdms do.

The local Pizza Hut will take a rubbing of the card on the signature receipt.

But you still have to let them know so they have a receipt you can sign.

When I order pizza with my debit card, the operator usually tells me to present the card to the delivery person when they get there. That doesn't make me a dumb ass. They probably need to see if the card is correct or maybe to make an impression of it.

why would you say that? obviously the two situations are totally different.
