I guess sexism is every bit as rampant among women as it is men. Possibly worse.

Very definitely worse. I suspect that most guys really don't give a fig one way or the other and are pretty much ambivalent. Most women, however, obviously are still stuck in the '50s and are horrified at the idea of women out of the homes and offices and in the garages and factories. Women outnumber men. If women (as a whole) really wanted change, it would happen.

I'm a female who built her own computer and I'm a gamer, so I'm used to being viewed with skepticism. I still get asked if I'm really "a girl" when I choose to group with people outside my guild and friends list.
