  • Potty train your fecking kids

Today, I saw the most distressing sight in my life.

This couples six children, all wearing either regular diapers or pull-ups, were changed in our ticket office. The first to be changed, was the 3 year old boy, then the 7 year old girl was. The last one to be changed, appeared to be about 10 years old.

It smelled so bad in that office, that we all cleared out of there.

    So, moral of the story:

PARENTS; POTTY TRAIN YOUR DAMN KIDS!

Another thing; they all had pacifiers!

    post away.

My god. Unless those children are all mentally retarded or have a medical condition that necessitates this, that is very, very disturbing. Those children, particularly the 7 and 10 year olds ( ) are going to have a lot of psychological issues when they grow up. The problem here obviously goes farther than just not potty training the kids - in my opinion, this is abusive. If I'd seen this, I'd probably have called child services, or at least chewed the parents out very obscenely for it.

Maybe I'm unusually angry at this, but nothing pisses me off more than bad parenting. I've seen enough of it that I just won't tolerate it from anyone.

        That. Is. Really. Freaking. Awful.

How on Earth can you let your kids go to age 7 or 10 without potty training them? I think a call to Child Protective Services is in order.

These kids were high functioning. Stupid thing is, is that they preboarded.

I have a very strong feeling there is some mental condition to cause this. A ten and seven year old child in diapers and using pacifiers may have some form of Autism. These kids might speak well and may not give clues as to their condition by their behavior during a short period, but there often are sensory issues the children have that can cause them to ignore the urge to use the toilet until it is too late. In such cases, diapers are needed. I don't understand the sensory issues either, but I know for a fact they are true. Even high functioning autistics may have this problem.

It may be the parents have tried to potty train their children, but have not succeeded so far due to conditions beyond their power.

Turns out that hese people also rented a house on my street.

Trust me, I heard the youngest throw tantrums every day.

The middle one always back talked to both of them. then I caught them playing in my grandmothers garden. The 10 year old flipped both my grandmother and I off! It pissed her off to a point where she almot got into a shouting match with the mother and father.

They also played in the street. I almost hit them with my grandmother's isuszu.

                    Hmmm...

In the scope of one day these kids were at your job being changed, moved in next door to your Grandmother, played in your Grandmother's garden, and almost got run over by you, etc., etc.?

The story just grows and grows...

Ok, they had been on the island for over a week. Renting a house owned by one of my grandmothers good friends. They left today, and I had recognized them they sure as hell didn't travel lightly, as there were strollers, suitcases, toys...etc

                      So they left today.

I was posting about the yard part, because that provided some background info...

I agree....it does sound like a form of Autism, like Aspberger's Syndrome.

My niece is going to be five in September. She's just now getting potty trained. She's high functioning autistic (Aspberger's) She apparently went back for seconds and thirds when they were handing out the autism gene, her older sister has Aspberger's also, but managed to get potty trained around the normal age that most kids get trained.

I happen to know that several of our members have Asperger's. If you genuinely do have it, my apologies, but if this was a sick attempt to be humorous, then it was not funny in the least.

I think you have a vendetta against this family, and the story was invented to put them in a bad light.

In short, I think this whole thread smells as bad as that office full of diapers.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

wow, talk about encouraging developmental stunting...diapers on a 10 yr old? i think that it's way past time that cps gets a call on these 'parents.'

maybe a call to the cops next time the little smartass trespasses might get him and the parents a quick shock of reality, and when cops see the diapers...cps isn't far behind.
