You know those people. Your trying to help someone, your attention is solely focused on them, when someone has to slide from the side and ask a question. They are obvious to the fact that your face is either focused on someone else, your trying to do something on a register, or soemthing that is grabbing your attention.........

CAN YOU JUST WAIT ONE BLOODY MINUTE UNTIL I FINISH UP WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW?!?!?

Ugh, just had that happen last night. Dude, unless you're some genius college kid, his girlfriend, his professor, or a singer in a Cadillac, leave me alone for two seconds, capisce?

Guilty as charged. Usually when I need a restroom right friggin' now and can't wait for the person who still has to get their checkbook / bank card out of their purse / wallet, even though the cashier's done scanning the items, and has the total ready...

I thought this was gonna be about White Castle burgers and their "side-effects." I don't know why people can't wait either. Maybe it's some hidden narcissism within them, and they have to be #1. I hated that when I was working, if someone butted in even for a cup of water. I'd get to them faster if they didn't butt in, because unless you are known to cause a problem (Double Whopper Guy) we're not gonna stop for you.

When I am on the phone with a customer this is the time most when people want to ask me a question. Or they are shoving clothes in my face yelling "Can you put these on hold for me?!"

I love it when that happens, and I usually just say, if you could wait just a moment I just have to finish off the customer ahead of you, and they respond fine. The best is when the SC gets agitated and another customer interferes saying something along the lines of wait your turn, albeit not so nicely.

I also love when people start talking to you while you are on the phone, and expect you to answer your question while listening to the other customer on the phone.

The most awesome moments is when you are waiting in line at a store like yours or just at a different location, and you come to an employees rescue saying who was who. Or, just wait a moment he is busy. Its especially entertaining seeing the look on peoples faces when I do it. 17-year-old kid wearing a hoodie or a beanie and listening to music with huge headphones on his head. Wearing some random gaming related shirt.

I hate that crap. I am helping this person/working on this project/talking to a customer, on the phone. And I get that one jerk, wanting me to drop everything, and help him/her
